Finding Your Calibration ID

To locate your vehicle's ECU calibration ID using SXTHNK's system, follow these steps:

  1. Identify ECU Type: Visit the 'Vehicle List' on our platform and find the ECU type specific to your vehicle. For instance, a Veloster N (JSN) uses the ECU type "SIM2K-250".
  2. Connect the Device: Connect your SXTHNK device to your vehicle.
  3. Vehicle Positioning: Turn your vehicle to the 'On' mode without starting the engine. This is typically done with two taps of the ignition, ensuring the engine remains off.
  4. Read ECU ID: On your device, select the "Read ECU ID" option. Then, choose the ECU type you identified earlier from the list provided.

Note the Calibration ID: The device will display the calibration ID, which will resemble formats like JSNKKM__R1B, GTFS-ENU6QS00C00, CKJN3TMSEE0B, or TCK0T33NH0.

Important: When entering your calibration ID, ensure only two underscores ('__') are included, and the ID must exactly match your vehicle’s. Incorrect ID entry can lead to catastrophic damage to the ECU. Exercise utmost accuracy in this process.
